Memorial Day Weekend (Im not very creative with my titles) lol

Memorial weekend is over and so is my break from school. I have to go back tomorrow. Ugh! Don't get me wrong I like school a lot and I'm ready to see my friends but after being out for three weeks its a little hard to go back. My weekend was good. Saturday we had the arts and crafts fair in Mabank and did really well. We completely sold out of little blue jean purses. Sunday I went to church and laughed my butt off. Around five me and another girl who's husband works with David went up to Cleburn to see our hubbies. It was nice to get to spend a little time with him. This week will be the third week straight that he has worked out of town! : ( So now I'm back home and trying to get ready for my first day back at school. I picked a ton of plums and plan to give some to my teacher tomorrow for a little welcome back gift. A whole new group of students start this semester so Ive really been praying that God will use me and that I will see any doors that he opens for me this semester. I am pretty excited about that. That's all for now!

Our booth and one of my favorite outfits my mom made.

After Yelling at Lola for eating my powdered donuts I discovered this....

...I don't know if you can see it but Maxi's nose and whiskers are covered with powdered sugar....now I know who the real culprit is! Shes very very sneaky!
OK, I know this is the longest post ever but this is the last thing I promise this is the giant bowl of plums I picked off our trees. They are sooo good!

    God is Great!

Wow what a busy week. It has been full of remolding my bathroom, little league games, and Pre K graduation. David has been working out of town this past week so I have kept myself busy to avoid missing him too much. Our bathroom is really starting to look good. I'm still on break until Tuesday so Ive been having a blast with my family and all my nephews and niece. Ive also really had a chance to pray and study like if been needing to. I feel so much better. I needed this break to take a reality check and remind myself that I'm here on this earth to worship and praise God. Nothing feels as good as having a good relationship with him! My family had a little scare earlier this week. My sister Tara was driving to work Wednesday morning and came over a hill and hit a cyclist that was riding in the rode. Even though it was an accident and he was in the rode she was still at fault. Thank God he wasn't hurt but we were still pretty scared that he may decide to sue. It turns out that he is a minister and a good man of God and is just happy to OK so it seem that God has taken care of her. I have also started teaching the two and three year old at church. It is so fulfilling and fun to get to teach all the little about God. There all so innocent and sweet and I love all of them as if they were my own. My mom and I have a craft fair tomorrow in Mabank and will be selling all of out little creations. Pray that we do good since its something that my mom really enjoys doing. Davids working in Cleburne another week so Sunday I'm going up there to see him. I miss him like crazy. I think its true what they say. Absence defiantly does make the heart grow fonder...

Braeden at his T-ball game...hes so cute in his little uniform!

    Letters to God

Recently Ive had something happened where I find it hard to act like a Christian and hold my tongue. I know that when I'm in a sticky situation that Gods way is the only way to handle it correctly but its been really hard for me to do it his way. So Ive decided to start a prayer journal. I was ready a devotional about writing in a journal to God when you feel like your in too deep and decided that's exactly what I need. So just pray for me that it works and that I'm able to take God high road instead of letting the devil drag me down.

    Our Furry family is complete!

A little over a week David and I headed to canton to pick out the new addition to our family. We had been talking for a while about getting a puppy for Lola to play with (Lola is our other dog). So we found our little Maxi (Maxine Elizabeth Stovall). She is a long haired miniature dachshund like Lola. Of course we had to give her a human name like we do all our dogs. Her and Lola LOVE each other. Lola has already started trying to teach her things and Maxi is learning fast. I love my girls!

David still had stitches under his nose from his surgery in this pic and Lola looks demon possessed but its the only one I could get where both dog weren't going crazy. lol

    Summer Break starts NOW!

Well its been a little while since the last time I wrote and a few things have happened. I am now on summer break. The spring semester ended with me making a 94 on my written and practical final. Now I am off for 3 weeks. Yesterday we had our end of the semester party at lake Jacksonville and I am BURNT! I gave up the whole tanning bed thing a few months ago in fear of cancer and wrinkles so I burned a lot easier than I used to. We had fun swimming, grilling and playing volleyball. I will defiantly miss all my friends but the break is much needed for all of us!

Al and Nichole enjoying the sun!
We ran out of hamburger buns so Nichole got creative.
